Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Funderworks LLC (“BRIDGE,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the BRIDGE mobile apps (iOS and Android) and website (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data — name, email, optional phone number, profile photo, and role (agent, investor, or pro).
- Profile & verification details — for pros: identity, license, service area, and payout information. Identity and bank verification are performed by Stripe; we do not store full bank-account or government-ID numbers.
- Booking, job & membership records — services requested, jobs accepted, schedules, reviews, and documents you create.
- Payment information — collected and processed by Stripe via tokenization. We receive limited data such as the card brand, last four digits, and transaction status — never full card numbers.
- Messages — in-app messages and conversation history between users.
- Location — approximate or precise location (with your permission) to match you with nearby pros and enable live tracking.
- Device & usage analytics — device type, app version, IP address, and usage data.
- Push notification tokens — to deliver booking, job, and payout notifications.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process data to create and maintain accounts, match requests with pros, process payments and payouts, enable communication, provide support, verify identity, prevent fraud, and operate and improve the Service, and to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. We do not use your data for advertising profiling or sell it to third parties.
3. Sign-in Providers
If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a limited dataset (name, email, and a unique identifier) used only to create and secure your account. We do not post on your behalf, access your contacts, or extract additional data from these providers.
4. How We Share Your Information
- Between users — to complete a job we share what the other side needs (e.g., a client’s booking details with the assigned pro, a pro’s name and rating with the client).
- Service providers (processors) — Stripe (payments, payouts, identity), Supabase (our database/auth), our hosting provider, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications), and analytics vendors, who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Legal — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Text Messaging (SMS)
If you opt in, we may send service-related and promotional text messages (booking and payout updates, one-time verification codes, and occasional offers). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using the Service or of any purchase.
We will never sell or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging (SMS) opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Text Club page for full program terms.
6. Data Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must retain by law (for example, financial/transaction records kept for tax and audit compliance), which are pseudonymized where possible. 7. Your Rights and Choices
- Access, correct, export, or delete your data in the app (Account → Settings → Delete account) or by emailing privacy@bridge-re.com.
- Location & notifications — control these in your device settings.
- Marketing — opt out of promotional messages while still receiving transactional ones.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including HTTPS in transit, encryption at rest, and row-level security that isolates each user’s data. Sensitive payment and identity data is tokenized and handled by Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your data is processed in the U.S. under U.S. law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notified in-app or by email.
